A Spectacular Summer Wedding

The Venue at the Royal Liver Building hosted an elegant wedding reception in July. Following a church ceremony, the newlyweds arrived with 100 guests for a celebration at the Liverpool icon.
Guests began with drinks and canapés on the balcony, where they soaked up the sun and enjoyed stunning views over the River Mersey.
Following drinks guests moved into the Bertie Suite for the wedding breakfast. A pink and grey colour scheme complemented the venue’s contemporary décor, with pastel balloons and floral arrangements completing the look.
A three-course menu was provided by our caterer: Dougherty and Allen. Guests tucked into Mediterranean charcuterie sharing platters, followed by beef fillet. The bride’s family provided dessert; homemade brownies went down a storm!
Following their wedding breakfast the couple cut their rustic naked wedding cake, then took to the dance floor for their first dance.
As guests partied the night away the bride and groom stole a moment on the roof of the Royal Liver Building, taking photos in front of the cityscape of Liverpool.
