A Traditional Autumn Wedding

In September, Andrew and Emma celebrated their marriage with a stunning reception at The Venue at The Royal Liver Building. Following a traditional countryside ceremony at St Joseph’s church in Crosby, the couple’s 80 guests were greeted at The Venue. Guests enjoyed Prosecco and a selection of cocktails, made with signature Liverpool gin.

The Bertie Suite was transformed with intricate floral designs, table centres and glowing lighting, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guests were then seated for a three-course wedding breakfast, provided by Dougherty & Allen, our preferred caterer. Backdrops of blue skies and a stunning sunset, set against Liverpool’s waterfront, provided great opportunities for the couple’s photographs.

Returning from the balcony, the couple headed to the dance floor for their first dance. A six-piece soul band, The Cover Cats, entertained guests on the dance floor all evening. Keeping to their roots, the couple chose “Scouse” stew to serve to their guests as an evening snack, with traditional accompaniments.

“Everyone had a fantastic time and we thought it was brilliant.  Our guests loved the venue and were very impressed with the space, food, flowers and everything. Thank you so much for all the work you did in the run up and especially on the day to make sure it all went smoothly. It was amazing!”
